Discipleship

Intentionally Growing into the Image of Christ

At Trinity Church, we desire to see all things conformed to Christ, and that begins with each of us. We plan opportunities throughout the year for members and friends of Trinity Church to gather together in relationships and grow in the image of Christ.

Women’s Bible Study | The Book of Acts | Winter Term

Women of Trinity Church—and friends—are warmly invited to a weekly Bible study on the book of Acts, running alongside our winter sermon series. Together we’ll see the early church growing through challenges, God strengthening His people, leaders being raised up, opposition overcome, and the gospel spreading by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Whether you’re brand new to the Bible or have studied it for years, this study is for you. Come as you are—no prior experience needed. Along the way, we’ll not only open God’s Word, but also build meaningful friendships and encourage one another in faith.

With a new year beginning, this is the perfect time to try a Bible study – especially if you’ve never participated before. We’re offering four identical study times to fit your schedule:

  • Saturday early morning, 6:30-8:30 am, January 10 – March 21

  • Saturday late morning, 9:30-11:30am, January 10-March 21

  • Monday mid-day, 11:00am-1:00pm, January 12-March 23

  • Monday evening, 6:30-8:30 pm, January 12 – March 23

All groups will meet at the home of Renée Bomers beginning the week of January 10. Sign up here to register. We would love to have you join us!

Revitalize Your Personal Quiet Time
Saturday Morning Workshop

Women of Trinity—and their friends—are warmly invited to a special Saturday morning workshop, Revitalize Your Personal Quiet Time, happening at the start of the new year—a perfect time to pause, reset, and establish life-giving rhythms with the Lord.

This workshop will focus on cultivating a meaningful daily time with God—not a Bible study and not a devotional book, but a simple, intentional rhythm of meeting Him through His Word each day, with the goal of it becoming a lifelong habit.

As George Müller expressed so well:
“I saw more clearly than ever that the first great and primary business to which I ought to attend every day was to have my soul happy in the Lord.”

Details:

  • Home of Renée Bomers

  • Saturday, January 17, 2026

  • 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Whether your quiet time needs renewal, structure, or a fresh start altogether, come be encouraged, equipped, and refreshed as we seek to begin the year anchored in daily fellowship with the Lord. This workshop is open to gals high school aged and above, but space is limited to 20 participants. Sign up here, and we can’t wait to see you!

TRINITY BOYS GRADES 4-8

The journey of grief is a painful process, and you do not need to walk it alone. The most challenging and painful of all separations is the death of a relative or close friend. There are a number of phases in the grieving process, and everyone does not undergo these phases of grief at the same speed. The fact is all grief is unique and a healthy recovery from such a major loss takes time as you move through the grief process. We would like to encourage you to join the special grief recovery support group offered through a partnership of Trinity and Hudsonville Reformed churches to be held at Hudsonville Reformed church beginning Tuesday, September 16 from 6:00-7:30pm in the Quad room (please park in the lower lot and enter through the lower level). Grief Share is Christ-centered and biblical with a workbook and DVD addressing topics and issues for those grieving the death of a loved one. For more information or to register please contact Greg Tenbrink at gtenbrink55@gmail.com. We hope you will join us and remember that your loss is shared by others at Trinity and that what you are experiencing is sometimes easier to bear knowing others are listening and do care.
